# Privacy Notice Effective date: 2026-04-15 This Privacy Notice applies to `aistackregistry.com` and the public pages published from this repository. It does not apply to third-party sites, products, or services that we link to. ## What this site is AI Stack Registry is a public, machine-readable registry and documentation site. The public site does not currently offer user accounts, checkout, comments, newsletter signups, or advertising/remarketing features. ## Information we collect We currently collect or receive the following categories of information: | Category | Examples | Source | | --- | --- | --- | | Server, delivery, and security data | IP address, user agent, requested URL, referring URL, date/time, response status, and similar request metadata | Automatically from browsers, devices, hosting, CDN, and security infrastructure | | Messages you send us directly | Email address, message content, attachments, and related correspondence | You | | Operational records | Abuse reports, troubleshooting notes, and request-handling records | Generated by us while operating the site | We do not currently ask visitors to create accounts or submit profile information through the public site. ## How we use information We use information to: - deliver the site and its files; - maintain security, availability, logging, and abuse prevention; - diagnose bugs and operational issues; - respond to messages, legal requests, and security reports; and - keep basic records related to the operation of the site. ## Cookies and similar technologies The public site does not currently deploy analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking tags from the site itself. We do not currently use the site to set non-essential cookies for advertising, retargeting, or cross-site behavioral profiling. As a result, the site does not currently present a cookie consent banner. Our hosting, CDN, or security providers may still process request-level identifiers or use strictly necessary technical measures for routing, security, caching, bot mitigation, or abuse prevention. If we later add non-essential analytics, advertising technology, or similar tracking, we will update this notice and implement any required consent or opt-out controls before enabling that processing. ## Sharing and disclosure We may disclose information to: - hosting, CDN, security, and infrastructure providers that deliver or protect the site; - email or support providers used to receive and respond to messages; - professional advisers or authorities when reasonably necessary for legal, security, or compliance purposes; and - a successor entity in connection with a reorganization, sale, or transfer of the project or site. We do not currently sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising on the public site. ## Current providers As of 2026-04-15, the public site is delivered through GitHub Pages and related delivery infrastructure. Privacy and security messages sent to `security@aistackregistry.com` are routed through Cloudflare Email Routing before forwarding to our designated inbox. Those providers may process request logs, network metadata, and message-routing data as part of hosting, delivery, and security operations. If we materially change hosting, CDN, analytics, or other third-party processors, we will update this notice. ## Retention We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. - Provider-managed request logs are generally retained according to provider defaults and operational/security needs. - Email and support correspondence may be retained for as long as needed to respond, resolve issues, maintain records, and protect the site. ## Your U.S. privacy rights Depending on where you live and whether an applicable state privacy law applies to us, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information. To make a privacy request, email `security@aistackregistry.com` with the subject line `Privacy Request`. Please describe your request with enough detail for us to evaluate it. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request. Where applicable, we aim to respond within 45 days. Because the public site does not currently sell personal information or use targeted advertising, there is no advertising opt-out workflow on the site today. ## Do Not Track and cross-site tracking There is no universally accepted standard for browser `Do Not Track` signals. The public site does not currently change behavior in response to `Do Not Track` signals. We do not currently allow third-party advertising or analytics services to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites through the public site itself. Hosting, CDN, and security providers may still process request data as part of delivering and protecting the site. ## Children's privacy The public site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the public site. ## Third-party links The site links to third-party sites and services, including source repositories, documentation sites, and public profiles. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices and policies, not this one. ## Changes to this notice We may update this notice from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect on the site. ## Contact Privacy questions and requests: `security@aistackregistry.com`
